Dr. Jean Hulbert, DC, LAC

Dr. Jean Hulbert has been practicing chiropractic and acupuncture since 1995. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minnesota, and completed a three-year, master’s-level acupuncture program at the Minnesota Institute of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies. She is the only provider in Southcentral Alaska professionally licensed in both chiropractic and acupuncture. This dual perspective informs every treatment she offers—whether chiropractic, acupuncture, or a blend of both—and allows the two disciplines to complement each other in a truly integrative approach.

Dr. Hulbert is passionate about helping people feel their best so they can live their most fulfilling lives. While many patients initially seek care for pain relief, she especially appreciates when they notice an overall sense of improved well-being after treatment. She treats a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive disorders, allergies, asthma, menstrual irregularities, and infertility. Her practice is family-friendly, and she enjoys offering chiropractic and gentle acupuncture care for children.

A lifelong Alaskan, Dr. Hulbert grew up in Anchorage and spent her childhood hiking, skiing, camping, kayaking, and beachcombing in remote corners of the state with her adventurous family. These days, she enjoys daily outdoor adventures around Anchorage and beyond with her yellow lab, Phoebe.

When she’s not working, Jan enjoys spending time with her pets, gardening, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with her husband.

ANGELA BLUNT, LMT

After graduating with full honors—and as Valedictorian—from Alaska Career College, Angela began her career as a licensed therapeutic massage specialist. Since then, she has focused on refining her orthopedic massage techniques, working in clinical settings, chiropractic offices, and athletic centers across Alaska. Her work centers on helping patients reduce or even eliminate their reliance on pain medications through effective, targeted bodywork.

Angela is especially passionate about identifying, managing, and ultimately relieving pain. Her approach emphasizes restoring balance in the nervous, immune, and cardiovascular systems through hands-on therapeutic techniques. She also encourages lasting lifestyle changes to support long-term wellness and pain-free living.

Thanks to her deep curiosity and dedication to understanding the human body, Angela excels at creating customized massage programs that help her patients move steadily toward their wellness goals.

Outside of her practice, Angela is a proud mother of three and grandmother of one. She enjoys volunteering at local events (especially offering massage), reading, exercising, and exploring the Alaskan outdoors with her youngest child. She joined the SunDog Wellness team in the fall of 2018.

SAMANTHA CONROY, LMT

Samantha received her massage therapy training in Albany, New York, in 2016 and has been practicing ever since. After moving to Alaska in 2018, she worked in both medical and spa settings, gaining a well-rounded foundation in therapeutic and relaxation-based massage. She joined the SunDog Wellness team after a client recommended the clinic, once she connected with the staff and resonated with the shared values, she knew it was the right fit.

Samantha enjoys blending healing and relaxation in her sessions, using slow, intentional movements with targeted therapeutic work to support each client’s needs. She believes in the body’s ability to heal through compassionate touch and thoughtful technique.

Before moving to Alaska, Samantha ran a self-sustaining farm in upstate New York. She’s now working toward building a similar lifestyle here. On weekends, you’ll find her outdoors with her husband and their three dogs—fishing, hiking, hunting, gardening, or simply soaking in the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness.
